  • Based on our client’s unique requirement, the WhatNext identified 130 solutions within a variety of technology areas covering large scale battery storage, thermal solutions, H2 storage solutions, mechanical, air & gravity based systems, etc.

Benchmarking

  • Based on the long list, solutions were then bifurcated based on their top two primary use cases & applications. Each bucket of solutions were benchmarked based on existing maturity level, estimated LCOE (levelized cost of energy), energy storage capacity, expected system life, robustness/reliability of the solution & solution sustainability

Due-Diligence: Primary Interviews with Start-Ups & MSMEs

  • 15 companies were selected for in-video interviews to validate claims made, assess actual TRLs, etc. These inputs were used to arrive at a final short list.
